Sines Marina

When folk start feeling queasy at anchor, you know it is time to move into the marina.

Wet and windy weather has now closed in and so we are back in Sines Marina, as per last Monday, hiding from low after low due to pummel us this coming week. Ho hum. We're not alone fortunately, there are about 7 or 8 other cruisers awaiting calm northerlies to go to Madeira and Canaries, so we're in good company. The few we have met so far seem delightful.

Huge excitement upon receiving a text from Dave Meaning who recognised our 'Atlantic Mackerel' caught outside Oporto and Sines as being a TUNA! Harry couldn't believe it and will now have to amend his 'Fish Log'. You don't need a dinghy when you're in a marina but we weren't allowed to pack it away onto the deck as he wants to carry on fishing in the harbour this week.

I realise I didn't give yesterday's paintings their titles, Isabelle's was a jelly fish, but yes Katharine, Harry's was of a hammock slung between two trees on the beach at sunrise!
