Checked out of BVI after taking on fuel water and a final ice cream. Overcast conditions with 14 – 18kts wind out of the east, but reasonable 5.6 kts on a course of 30C with one reef in the main and 66% headsail in anticipation of squalls as we get further offshore. Pretty comfortable start, the crew are a bit quiet but all’s well on board with 846 nm to go to waypoint 1 at 32N 060W.
