We dropped anchor in 12m inshore of lots of ships at 0200 this morning and a had a wee dram - or two with the midshipman after coming to the end of our 4090 mile passage from Langkawi, fell into bed around 0330. The anchor came up at 0600 and a short time later we were tied up alongside a sea wall with cafes and people going to work to await clearing in. Immigration, health, coast guard and customs all required forms to be completed - customs won with 16. We' re now alongside in Caudan marina and will decide on a longer term berth while we fly home in the next few days. Leaving a boat here is not a simple matter but we'll find a way through. The stories will be many and long in the telling - all in all a good passage over a gnarly ocean with many memorable moments.
