Another varied 24 hours. Steady sailing until dark last night. By 1900 the rain started as a squall overtook us. I had 2 hours of total blackness and driving torrential rain as Threeships took off at 8.5 knots under double reefed main - just a matter of hangin on really. Toby took over at 2100 until midnight and had the most miserable 3 hours of his entire life huddled under the dodger trying to hide - but he took it well and his sense of humour remains firmly intact - unfotunately. Conditions improvd to drizzle for Fi and by my dawn waatch it was almost dry again. Today has been sunny with light E winds at 8 -10 knots. No fish yet. More wind forecast over the next 48 hours. All well on board.
