Currently trucking along at 7kts in 15kts of south easterley breeze, with 'George' the wind vane doing all of the hard work and wonderful chilli smells wafting out of the galley (thanks Fi). After 24 hrs of change the skies have cleared and we can just make out a white sail on the horizon behind us belonging to french friends met in Cocos.
Had some heavy rain this morning when the captain and admiral got  truly soaked taking down the pole and gybing to cope with the 40 degree wind shift - thankfully I was off watch. Now cruising under clear skies as the sun sets hoping for a less disturbed night. All well on board
