The last 24 hours have been a little frustrating with the wind coming from all points of the compass with rain squalls and lumpy seas. We covered 150 miles as there was a lot of the variable wind but only 120 of those miles were  knocked off our distance to go. Many of them were avoiding gybing in dark squalls and we even ended up heading ssw at one point.
However the troublesome occluded front has moved off a little way now taking the wind with it and we are motoring in the right direction until the wind fills again.
We have 1518 miles to go to the Azores and everyone is happy and well. Today is our wedding anniversary but we think we will be dining aboard rather going out for a meal!
With flatter seas and an easy motion Fi is making chutney as she couldn’t find any in BVI – I think the seed was sown when Tim said “I’m surprised you didnt just knock some together”.
So as we wish for better winds we say bye until tomorrow.
