We arrived here by noon. Now we have seen the town, had a beer at one restaurant and lunch at another. On the second we talked to an Austrian couple. They were on their way to the Pacific. He is a mechanic, and he loved to talk about motors. So Bjørn learnt a few useful things. If you later on ae in the Pacific and need a mechanic, you may check if the Austrian sailboat "Alien" is there. His email address is on their internet page: www.spiritofsail.org.
Eva was able to by lettuce in a Chinese supermarket, and we also got pineapples and bananas. The village is not rich, and may look a little run down. It is difficult to imagine the greatness and richness in the couple of hundred years after the bay was first used by Colombus. There are ruins of two forts that may remind us though.
