The first time I was in the Bight on Norman Island was in 1982. We were also here in 2009. In 1982 we had to anchor. In 2009 half the bay had moorings, this year there are moorings all over the bay. And tonight they are all occupied.
And we pay for it. 30 US dollars for one night. For that price we thought the service to take away our garbage was included. But no, we paid 3 US to get rid of a small bag of garbage...
Today we set out to clean the bottom of the boat. Eva snorkelled along the sides. I dived under. 150 bars down in the bottle I still had not finished the entire bottom. But I was exhausted, and with just 50 bars left, time was there to get up. No problem, we'll do the rest tomorrow. After South America, we have needed some days to feel that we live in the boat again. Now it is all fine, the bay is beautiful allmost full moon, almost no wind. Just lovely.
