We had a much nicer sailing here than we expected. The wind was steady about 20 knots on the beam, sometimes a little aft of the beam. That was until we passed Iles des Saints. Between Iles des Saints and mainland Guadeloupe the wind suddenly, when we came out of the lee of the westernmost Saint, reached 30 knots pluss. Luckily it lasted no more than an hour, then we were behind Guadeloupe. As soon as the anchor dug in, we jumped in the water, time for a bath. We stay on the boat, because the dingy is tied up on the deck, and we go to the next harbour tomorrow morning.
