One of our fastest sails, from Marinique to Dominiqua, all the way between 7 and 8 knots. Heavy seas, but the true wind of abount 20 knots was just aft of the beam. The open strech of 25 miles was done in almost no time. And we had good luck. Despite several heavy showers passing by, only one hit us. Here in Roseau we are in total lee of the island, tied up to a bouy for 27 EC dollars. White wine on he deck in the sunset for the first time (but not the first white wine...). OK, the rain came just whwen the sun hit the horizon. But what does it matter when the temperature is 27 C?
