Ok, we’ll stay one more night. We feel we need it. Even if Zeebrugge is not the most inspiring town. Maybe go by the tram into Brugge. Brugge is a nice city. Next stop will be in France, maybe Dieppe. Passing Calais means planning for the tide. We’ll try to time it. We’ll see.
Yesterday we found a very nice restaurant, after the computer at the harbourmaster’s had recognised us from the last time, four years ago. Excellent food. We had fish. The “Seeduivel” they called it. And we had some sort of shrips as precourse. The shrimps were so tiny, though many. We just wander about the ecologics. Four years ago we heard that there are very little shrimps left in these waters...
Our nabours in the marina were English. They were on a motorboat, they had been up the Rhein and further, for six weeks. Now they were heading home towards the Thems estuary. Doing 18 knots yhat is a shorter leg than it would be for us... And they did not worry too much about the tide either.
