Second spinnaker out of service

It is 21h45, Olof is stearing, the full moon is lighting from behind, the wind is stable at around 15 knots (we guess now with no wind instrument), Nils and Johan are sleeping in the cockpit and Jörgen in the saloon and just as I pressed on “send” to send the former blog letter I heard a “bang”!
What now? There was no wind change nor heavy waves. Olof stearing shouted that the rope that holds the spinnaker up lostened itself. We managed to take in the spinnaker smoothly and saw that the top of the spinnaker had ripped off, we guess due to shafe. So now that our second spinnaker is out of service, we continue with the  genua...
 
Sorry all you guys following us on our trip over the Atlantic, it seems it is now going to be quite challenging to chase BombyXs 4th place. But we’re still moving forward pretty fast!
 
However we will be in St Lucia in a few days.
