An early start as the plan was to head to the temporary tented base camp (that controls the tourism in the Torngat and is situated at the southern edge of the park) while the wind was behind us, as the forecast for the next few days is strong from the south east and south where we want to go so we may be stuck here for a day or two ( if one thinks of it as being stuck in such beauty!). We had a fast down wind trip touching 8 knots at times and are now anchored a couple of miles from the camp. We plan to visit tomorrow as there is talk, by Tom and Nancy, who have been before, of friendly faces..... and a "shop" that sometimes sells chocolate!
