Well just when I said we hadn't had enough wind it picked up and right from the direction we wanted to go, so we have stayed at anchor today in the Button islands and read books (me) worked on photos (Tom and Trish) and painted (Nancy)and been generally lazy. We are quite snug as the heater is cranked up to high and apart from the occasional look outside to see if the are any visiting polar bears on the shore we have stayed below as its chilly up there. The water temperature by the way is 1 degree centigrade (34 F) the coldest we have had (even in Greenland it was a degree higher)so not a mention of swimming, to pass the time, from the crew of Francis B. The sun is now out so hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow, we'll check the forecast later to find out. In the meantime I must get back to looking for the north west passage with Lord Franklin, who in the 19th century was certainly not doing as well as we are!
