Hi,

Long time I know, but have been struggling with the satellite connection. After many hours and a lot of colourful language the Skipper has finally got a connection.

So to update you, we have now also to Martinique, Dominica, Iles des Saints, Guadaloupe, Antigua, Nevis, St Kitts, St Maartens (both the French and the Dutch side), St Barts and now back in Nevis where we are on a mooring buoy waiting for some strong winds to blow through before we make our journey back to Antigua via hopefully Montserrat.

We have had some lively seas and also some frustratingly calm ones where we have been unable to sail. We have seen lots of interesting sites and have many stories to tell. As you go further north the islands cater for the more wealthy and are strongly influenced by American tourists.

We are constantly surprised by the wildlife and the sites that we see from dolphins, turtles and boobies to hot sulphur baths, waterfalls, volcanoes and rain forest to name a few.

Our sailing experience improves with each trip although we did find ourslves caught up in the Heinekin Cup races as we were leaving St Maartens – long story! We are making sure however, that we continue to sample the rum punches an local fare.

Hope you are all well back home.

Tracy
