The day run was a creditable 193 miles, taking us further west, so our local ship clock was put back an hour.

Decided to adopt a new fishing techinique...and we (Peter and Calum) put out a glow stick on the lure. Unfortunately didn't catch anything, but at least it looked pretty!!

Katherine was on mother duty, and cooked up a cracking veggie risotto. Fruit and veg are now turning quite quickly, so eat up quick!!

Weather is getting better and better. Today the sun was roasting, and silly Jen now looks like streaky bacon!!

Night watch's are getting a wee bit boring now, since there are no boats around to spot! Simon and Jen took part in a heated game of scrabble last night, which culminated in Jen stealing the win from under Simon's nose! Point of contest: is CAVIAN a word!?

One of our daily routines is to log our positions back to ARC control through our SSB radio net. Simon reported our position and discussed weather and routing tactics with other vessels including Northern Child who are 45miles ahead!!
