I am still suffering from this cold which made for a slow start today. The weather is clear and the nights are cold. Frost all over the deck this morning. I eventually dragged myself into my overalls and started wet rubbing the first coat of topcoat back. I finished this at about 4.30 pm, exhausted but glad to have it ready to paint for tomorrow. Another clear day, no rain, is forecast then showers for Thursday.

All is well.

Bob Cat:

I spent a fair bit of time on the patio today with some nice sunshine streaming in. I have peered over the side of my abode and have found I am no longer surrounded by a moae of water but instead we seem to be as a medieval tower a long way up in the air. Am I in some strange fairy tale. This might account for so many of the strange things that have happened to me over the last several years. Good grief, I hope no one is going to kiss me. Goodness knows what might happen.

The skipper is still spluttering, maybe he is possessed - that would account for a lot of very strange behaviour. But no, I am a sensible cat, such flights of nonsense are not worthy of me. I shall have a little nap and I am sure awake in a saner state …. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
