Today Kate went for another road trip, this time exploring the region north of Hobart while I sailed Sylph back to Hobart.  Conditions started very light but once out of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and into the Derwent Estuary, the wind freshened and Sylph made good time to our destination for the night, back at Sullivans Cove Marina where we tied up in the middle of a rain squall. Fortunately a young man was able to take Sylph’s lines as I fluffed the alongside with the wind blowing us off the dock.

We now await Kate’s return.

All is well.
