We departed Narooma at just after 11.00 towards the top of high water so as to make the bar crossing as safe as possible.  Conditions have been pretty much ideal with light winds, the sun high in the sky and only a low swell, the incoming tide reducing the chance of breaking waves to nil.  Once in deep water we set sail and are now running square downwind with the jib poled out to port.  Oli had his seasickness medication prior to departure and is sleeping peacefully. If conditions remain fair we should arrive in Twofold Bay in the early hours of tomorrow.

All is well.
