Since tacking with the wind shift yesterday we have been making excellent progress. The wind has freshened and the seas and swell have smoothed out somewhat so the ride is much more comfortable. Sylph is romping along with the GPS regularly showing eight knots.

All is well.

Bob looks around the grey horizon, a flurry of shearwaters skitter in the distance. He lifts his gaze to the full white sails, and beyond to the overcast but bright grey skies above. The hiss and churn of Sylph’s scudding wake fills his ears. Why am I here? Why, to sail of course. It’s getting towards time to go and fetch RC.
