We gybed over at dawn this morning for the final run into St Lucia, so with an eta of around 6 o’clock local time it’s looking like we’ll catch early doors in the bar at the marina.

Having gone from a windless start to the crossing, we have now been revelling in 20-25 knots of trade winds for the past 4 days, at which speed Ghost comes into her own,  effortlessly cruising down waves at between 8 and 13 knots all day long, even with two reefs in the main and a poled out genoa.

The photo is of one of the casualties we usually find on the deck first thing in the morning.
