Very slow going yesterday morning and afternoon. The asymmetric kept blowing into the spreaders of the mast and ripping the sail. Robert went up the mast and cushioned the spreaders to prevent more damage.
We spotted a large group of dolphin or porpoise in the afternoon. Robert and Kirsten spotted a pod of whales this morning. There are huge birds, their wing span must be 3 or 4 feet. They are predominantly white with some black in their wings, gorgeous to watch them flying around the boat.
We are once again in the doldrums this morning, seems to be a pattern. No wind in the morning and afternoon and then 8-10 knots early evening.
Stewart made delicious hamburgers on the grill and potato salad for dinner last night.
All is well. Cheers from Breeze
