We are anchored at Isla Canas, rocky shore with beaches and gorgeous water. This island is separated from Isla del Rey by a narrow channel called Canal Punta Aguja. It is said the friendly natives sell fish, pearls and fruit.

Seas were quite choppy, with a brisk wind. Motoring through the canal we see steep rock islets covered with birds. The anchorage is quiet, good shelter from the winds that will increase to 30+ knots this evening. There is no internet access, and I do believe there will not be until we reach the Galapagos.
