Bermuda to Azores  – Day 7 (really)

Got another complaint yesterday that I had missed out day 3. Such a picky lot! So this really is day 7, I think?

Pleasant day again yesterday broad reaching in relatively comfortable seas and 15-18k of breeze from the SW. Put a pretty big reef in both main and genoa just before dark just in case, but no unexpected winds in the night, though still doing 7-8k.

The front associated with the big low passing north of us, is scheduled to sweep through tonight, so interesting times expected. We hope we are sufficiently far south now that it won’t be too severe, but will have to gybe as the wind switched from SW to NW.

Still looking like a Wednesday arrival in Horta.
