After checking in with customs in Pangai on Wednesday morning we then pulled up the anchor and sailed south to the next island of Uoleva where we have been for the last few days.

We are anchored in a large bay with sandy beach all around it. There is not any village on this island and only a few people that stay here. The snorkeling right next to Sea Monkey here is really good. I jumped overboard as soon as we had anchored and found lots of healthy coral, passages through the maze of coral formations, many colourful reef fish and rays hanging out on the sandy bottom under the boat.

Yesterday Connolly hung out on the boat and had a snorkel too. I had a really great day walking around the entire island on the beach. It was beautiful and very peaceful with just me; the turquoise waters and reefs on one side and the coconut palms and woods on the other side.

I need to check up on the weather forecast soon by downloading a grib weather file via the sat phone - our only real link to the outside world from here! Then I can plan where we head to for the next few days as I think the wind is due to change direction early next week.

Will send another update for you all to read later next week probably so look out for it!
