Dear Family and Friends,

We first heard of the Pacific Puddle Jump when we were in Shelter Bay, Colon, Panama, when we met the organisers advertising the event, and what an event. We had such fun and I cant recommend it highly enough.

Complete with our own floral leis, at the cocktail party for the Pacific Puddle Jump (PPJ)

PPJ rally sail (race) to Moorea some 15 miles away, 20-25 knots of wind and not much sun! I think we were something like 11 overall.

Cook’s Bay our rally destination, the peaks are the edges of the volcanic caldera.

Our PPJ compare Marko, a man mountain in a pink and cream floppy hat with a fine appreciation of western humour!

This plaiting is not as easy as it looks with palm leaves!

Polynesian tattoos, love these on the Polynesians and he is sitting on a coconut grating stool. Just below the red pareu is a round metal grater on which the coconut halves are rubbed to grate the flesh.

Dont go away, more to come!

All our best
