We’ve been running the light wind parasail since yesterday morning when the winds dropped down to around 10knots. With that sail we have been averaging around 6knots. But at stages when we get up to 15n of wind we will get up to about 7-7.5kn. We are currently following the winds at about 258deg and doing about 6 kn. We will be keeping the set up through out the night. Hopefully we will get some better winds in the next couple of days.

We’re still in a wolf pack of other sail boats, at first we were lone wolves, but then one morning I knew our wolf pack had grown to 7 when there were sails all around the horizon. There are approximately 15 boats in our vicinity that we can see on radar occasionally. Another Queensland boat is just behind us and the bloody dutch Lagoon 450 is creeping up on us at about 8 miles behind. Not that it’s a race.

We saw a turtle this morning, and Chad, Scuba Steve and John have also hooked up some dolphin fish (mahi mahi, dorado) on the lures that Chad bought in Cape Verde. Yes Huw, they worked, now the giant lure is currently on the hand line - nothing yet, but I’m pretty sure we will all feel it when whatever wants it bites.
We cooked up the dolphin fish fillets for lunch today - beautiful!! Definitely need to catch some more, the ones we got were babies as you will see in the photos.

We got some potato and bean curry coming out for tea soon enough, can’t wait!
