After our final anchorage of Deshaies on Guadeloupe we leave the French Islands behind and arrive in Antigua 17th March.  Eight hour of good sailing hard into the wind, one reef into the main and a variable genoa, taking some big breakers over the decks we reach Falmouth Harbour in Antigua, last time we were here in 2011 we were in English Harbour.  As we are dropping anchor in the harbour we see we are behind Andromeda with Andrew and Susan an English couple who crossed the same time as we did and who will be crewing with us on Wings during race week.  They are leaving to go to Guadeloupe and will return in time for racing.
We check in with the authorities and meet up with Fred and Judy, Wings for a brief visit and then back to QS as I have caught the dreaded bug and need my bunk, also on the crossing we took salt water into the bilges and now need to find where it is coming from .......
