Soldier Bay Norman Island.
We motored the three miles to Norman Island and decided to moor in Soldier Bay as it was empty. It is a pretty enough small bay, with trees right down to the water edge. Sarah has now got the technique for picking up buoys perfected, even using her feet to hold lines as well as having ropes stuck in the back of her shorts.
After some chilling, it was in the water for another snorkel, two in one day and a six mile hike, it is turning into an exercise regime! Again there was an abundance of fish and having the whole bay to ourselves was a real treat, no worrying about dinghies or bumping into strangers while focused on the fish.
A quiet night to recover from the exercise and sunburn, that's the problem with dropping from factor 50 to 30! Luckily we have stores of aloe vera to take the sting out.

Wednesday 12th February
An early start was required to sail the short distance to Road Bay, Tortola. We wanted to see what it was like when it was open. But were again disappointed. At least Sarah managed to stock up on some more factor 50 sun cream. So after a couple of hours ashore we upped anchor and set sail for Fat Hog's Bay.
