We are enjoying a few days with my cousins Alison, Bruce and Hamish at their Bach on the beach at Teal Bay. It is so beautiful here, and the weather is fantastic, we are so lucky to have such friendly and generous relations! And to make the weekend even better, on our way up we saw a steam train.
Back on the boat things are going well. Sadly we had to cover our Coppercoat with antifoul but that is now done, and the top sides have been polished. For the first time I have painted the propeller and shaft with Propspeed, hopefully it will be worth the money. I also fitted three new anodes.
The big plus is that after a trip to BEP in Auckland for some tlc the Inverter is back onboard and working well.... so we have electricity again
I think we are on schedule to launch third week in April. The crew should be arriving about then
I trust you are all enjoying the Easter holiday
