Friends in France

This is what we came to France for....we have had a fabulous time sailing and playing around the boat with friends.

We sailed to Agay with Neil, Lucy, Gus, Annie and Indigo and anchored up.  Then Richard, Marina and Arial came on board and we rigged up the long spinnaker pole with a line so that we could all swing out and drop into the warm sea...awesome!  I am not sure we have the design totally correct it was easy to end up in the water before you had swung out.  I do wonder if the shorter pole would be better.

We spent a glorious night between the Iles de Lerins off Cannes.  Annie and Gus decided that fishing was the answer...apparently it is harder than you would think...they caught nothing!

The next night we spent in Agay and then sailed to St Tropez, anchoring near Bridget Bardot’s house (according to the tripper boats that kept passing)

Last night we had 18 people on board for pre dinner drinks before heading out to dinner for Richard’s birthday

The week just gone has been wonderful we shall miss the Manley clan very much indeed.  But we have the Woodings now, and more to follow too.  I can’t describe how much we enjoy sharing our home and our dream with friends just magical....

Have fun, and do come and see us
