Today it is time for Spirit to leave the island Tanna and Vanuatu and also the World ARC fleet.
Our goal i Australia and since we are heading towards Brisbane we decided to sail via New Caledonia to make the long leg shorter and to see one more country!

To leave WARC is to leave many dear friends whom we shared so many good times and both joyful and sometimes tough situations with.
Yes, it was a very sentimental moment for Erik and me. We left the bay of Port Resolution where most of our boat-friends where anchored in the early morning. Our eyes were full of tears.
But we are full of GRATITUDE for all these friends and experiences together and we will meet again!
Thank you all!
GRATIA!

Out at sea again. Now together with Laura and Joshua from the British boat In To The Blue. We are so happy to have you on Spirit for the last legs to Australia, and Laura and Josh are so happy to try another boat for a couple of weeks. We are heading towards New Caledonia. SW with a good wind of 17-24 Kt. Spirit runs steadily 9-11 Kt.

Sail on!
Pia, Erik,
Laura & Josh
