We left at 11:30 and motored the 33 miles to Riverside Drive Marina,
Whangerai. Again, the wind was SW against us but again there was no sea.
It takes about two hours to motor up the estuary and the river to town.
We’ll be here for a couple of weeks doing maintenance stuff before we are
hauled out on Nov 30th to deal with the cutlass bearing. The town center
is about a 20 minute walk. Steve will go to Auckland tomorrow to retrieve
our car which we left with friends.
I enclose some pictures of pictures in the Tutukaka marina office which
are both scary and amusing and a few rocks on the way here.
