We really enjoyed our stay in Hamble. Evidently there are at least 6,000 boats moored on the river so there were always coming and goings to watch of all sizes and types of boats. There was a scenic walk into the village and we had a nice Italian meal there.
We came to Eastbourne yesterday but unfortunately the weather wasn't quite as forecast the day before and we had to motor into the wind all the way. The last time we came here it was still being built but it's finished now and looks very good. We had a delicious Thai meal last night in the Waterfront area which is full of restaurants.
We are now going to wait for some settled weather and possibly get back to Shotley in one go.
