All the jobs were finished and we left Falmouth on Wednesday. Lovely weather but not a lot of wind and directly behind us.
As we approached Start Bay there were a lot of gannets diving for fish and then we saw some porpoises. They were jumping around and diving under the boat. There were loads of them and it was really exciting watching them. The water around here is so clear we could see them swimming under the water too.
We went to the pub in Kingswear for fish and chips and a pint - delicious!
We were going to stay a day but see next instalment.
