We arrived here at 9am. We had to motor sail to start with as the winds were quite light but after a few hours were able to turn the engine off and sailed all the rest of the way on one tack! We had to put some reefs in as it was quite windy along the coasts of Holland and Germany but it meant we went fast with a top speed of 9.5kn at one point. It was also interesting keeping a lookout for ships, oil wells and wind farms. We will explore Cuxhaven when we've had showers and sleep.
