We arrived in Roscoff at around lunch time. We had a great sail to start with and were starting to think we might arrive in the dark but then the wind changed direction and it wasn’t so favourable. Eventually we were going too slowly to avoid the ships in the traffic lanes and had to motor the rest of the way. However the boat behaved beautifully and we were really pleased with everything.
This is a brand new marina and some of it is still being built. We walked into Roscoff which is very pretty, had a very nice beer in the sunshine at a pavement cafe and bought some food for supper. We are hoping for a fruit de mer tomorrow and have spotted some likely places. We are going to stay here a few days before moving on and really start our holiday here.
