Back in Shotley

We left Eastbourne at 5:30 after filling up with diesel. The wind was a northeasterly - completely different from the forecast. We got some good sailing in but it was mostly motorsailing due to light winds. The threatened force 6 never arrived and we got back to Shotley in a force 1 at 11pm. We arrived at low water and had to hang about outside for 15 minutes until there was enough water in the lock.
We've had a great time but it's lovely to be back and we both celebrated this morning with a Shotley bath.
