18:26.558N 64:45.055W Once again we’re back in our favourite sailing grounds, the BVI’s.  We tried unsuccessfully to get to Peurto Rico but no luck.  A weather system came in bringing with it exceptionally high winds from the south east. Meaning that to get back here, (where SL will stay for the hurricane season) Easting as they call it, would have been a nightmare.  The 20 mile sail we had from the Peurto Rican island of Culebra was bad enough, having to tack more than twice that to get to St Thomas.  Anyway it is still on our bucket list so hopefully next season.  The only thing on Jost Van Dyke Island is Foxy’s Bar and does it go?  Even cruise ships deposit tender loads of passengers off for their ‘painkillers’ (a famous drink with rum etc etc)! The bay here however is magnificent with loads of turtles bobbing their heads up between the dinghies toing and froing to the bar. As the weather is still rough, today has been spent doing the stainless (Alex) and doing the laundry and cleaning below decks (June).  Fingers crossed that we get off tomorrow.
