17:09.095N 62:37.860W We arrived in Nevis (pronounced Navis) after a very long sail which was under engine the whole way. It felt good to finally arrive and tie up to a mooring buoy.  This is the island where Nelson married a widow who obviously was of plantation autocracy.  Also Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of State of the USA was born here.  There are some nice museums that attest to their famous past.  It would appear that all the plantation houses have been turned into luxurious hotels so they are really working on attracting the tourist. The dormant volcano is really impressive with rain forests growing all the way to the top.  We will certainly come back and spend a lot more time exploring the whole island.
