39:56.257N 9:42.147E Arrived in Arbatax Marina after a fast but very bumpy sail up here. We had 20+ winds on our tail and had the big genniker sail up, speed getting up to 8kts at times. However when we decided it just might be a bit toooo strong and the seas toooo rough for such a thin sail, getting it down was a big headache. Eventually Captain Col went up front and unravelled it. Rather him than any other member of the crew. The marina here is very sheltered if a tad expensive. We thought we'd again get some of our money back by having the air-con all night and doing loads of laundry. Not to be. The place had a power cut in the middle of the night so the boat is hot and sticky and the laundry is only half done.
