39:04.465N 17:08.139E We arrive in Crotone on the east side of sole of the foot of Italy. It was a long crossing (75M) but we had a fantastic sail. For 7 hours we had our new cruising chute up and had a really fast crossing. Unfortunately the winds died 3 hours out so again it was sails down and the engine on. The approach to the bay took us through a gas field with 4 platforms in our path. Usually there is a no go area around these things but we just sailed right through and nobody contacted us. Hey, this is Italy! The bay is lovely but we saw hundreds of huge jellyfish so no one is going in for a swim. Again, this is a Italian holiday area and we had the usual disco music bumming across the water.
