We were all very pleased yesterday
afternoon and evening when we hurling along between 7.5 to 8 knots.
Unfortunatey, this didn't last and we are now motorsailing again! I have
given up on fishing for the meantime after the whole bird fiasco. However,
there is always the celestial nav to keep us busy. Today I forgot the most
important rule of using the sextant, always put filters over the lens when you
point it at the sun. I am happy to report that the blindness was only
temporary. Thankfully this all occured whilst Benedikt was showering in
the cockpit, so to everything there is a silver lining!
Aside from that it has been a
pretty uneventful day. Plenty of sun, motoring and the sound of Rich's
laughter bellowing randomly from his cabin. Until next time.
