Simanderal number 2 is at last getting a chance to stretch her legs as we sail down the coast of Morocco from Tangier (lovely new marina) to Agadir where we plan to spend a few days.

Our first 20 hours were a boisterous sail on a close reach—big swell on the beam plus lumpy seas from the 20 knot wind. Fast but uncomfortable. Towards dawn on the second day , after a slowly diminishing wind, we finally gave up in 5 knots of wind and switched on the engine. And on it stayed for 24 hours with no sailing wind, until a couple of hours before dawn on our third day—today—when at last some wind returned and we are currently sailing on a broad reach in 9 knots of wind at over 5 knots in relatively calm seas and clear  blue skies. Lovely, and in no rush as we want to arrive tomorrow well after dawn. All happy!
