Virgin Gorda is a few miles only from Necker Island the home of Virgin's
Richard Branson. No prizes for learning where the airline got its name! That
is speculation not fact. We took a taxi to visit the Baths; Virgin Gorda's
key attraction. We arrived at a beautiful beach with formations of caves
where the sea was crystal clear and where fish were said to be plentiful and
colourful all to see with a mask and snorkel. Unfortunately, the caves
brochure made no recommendations concerning attire. We both had smart day
cloths, thinking we were exploring caves, but no swim wear at all. Fear not
a shop was positioned to meet our needs so that half an hour later we had
all we required. It was all very nice. The water was exhilarating in the
heat. The fish were out to show off their colours too. A good day.

But on we must go. Our next hop was to be short. About 15Nm only. We set off
for Tortola.
