Arrived at the Bahamas!!

We left Lake Worth before dawn to get a head start. The entrance channel is wide and well lit. We started making good progress is 1m  seas with winds on the nose. However, we soon hot the Gulf stream and had to head quite a bit south to avoid being  carried  too far north. This reduced your sped across the ground to less than 4 kts. Very frustrating! However, as we got further across we were able to head up. Also the winds picked up from the south so we could sail at 7kts. Problem was that the increased winds made the seas rather lumpy...... .......The seas always seem to be "lumpy when we head out? I did some fishing as we were crossing and caught 2 nice size baracuda. We don't like baracuda  much however, so set them free.

Anyway, we arrived at West End around 4 pm and had just enough time to clear in. LOTS of paper  forms needed to be completed.... what do they do with all this paper??? But it's all done now and we are legally in the country.

Some bad weather is forecast for the weekend....So we need to plan a snug place to wait that out. It will be nice to have a few days off then also.
