Good morning readers, 0930 here. So this high is contining to sit east of us and we've had no wind for over 24 hours now and have been motoring continuously. The routing suggests heading north to pick up some winds but its going to add days onto our passage and due to time constraints (an impending rather large festival back home) we're just going to try and motor through it. Wind is set to increase East of the Azores blowing NNE 15 knots so we should be good to sail all the way towards Gibraltar on that. We will need this wind to increase though as fuel will become an issue if it doesn't and there may be the need for some motor sailing when we approach Gibraltar as forecast is showing 30 knots of wind on the nose on the approach.

Apart from that all is well on board. There's nothing great to report really as there's been no sailing done. We did take the oppportunity for a full washdown of the deck. We converted the 'dock water inlet' on the after quarter to be a 'tank water outlet', and with the dessalator making plenty of water with the engine on, its great to get all the salt washed off the boat.

We've also realised we are blissfully unaware of any politics bullcrap back home and think the election took place a couple of days ago. If anyone would like to enlighten us to the outcome, feel free to let us know!

Pic of the day: we haven't put up a group photo yet...so here's one from yesterday.
