Good morning dear readers, 1030 here and the skies are clearing and the sun is breaking through....looks like its going to be a nice day! The wind has stayed NW blowing a steady 20-25 knots through the night and we made good distance and VMG with our course heading east. The wind is forcast to move NE over the coming day so our course will probably shift SE before tacking. Its also set to drop so if we don't make good speed we may engage the thumper for a bit...lets hope not.

Karin cooked up a carribean flavoured pasta and mince last night, and some of the guys watched a bit of Bond 007 Skeptre down below, a proper movied theatre was going off mid-atlantic, pop-corn and all while the boat was bombing along at 10 knots.

We've gone through all the tuna now too so we're going to get our lonesome Captain Hook back out. He'll be missing his good friend Seaman Stains though. Poor old stains!

Today is a far cry from yesterday. Brownwater made us chuckle. He described going to bed expecting to wake up to the predicted change in forecast and put his shorts on. Instead he woke up by being thrown out his bed....looked out his hatch and saw a wall of water....and come up on deck in what he can only describe as a scene straight out of 'Deadliest Catch'.

Here's another lovely pic of some of the weather yesteday. Bloody lovely old chap.....plenty of it!
