Morning all! So we're nearly here! ETA is 1530 so about and hour and a half to go. We had a good sail through the night with the main and code 0, but at about 0400 a front came in from the west with 21 knots of wind so we furled that and ran with the genoa, which was great fun surfing down some of the waves doing 11/12 knots. The wind has stayed consistenly good all day blowing 14 knots and we've been tanking along at an average 10 knots with two sailing boats upfront with been steadily catching.

We've just spoken to Bermuda Radio and have got our instructions regarding docking and checking into the island. It's Private Brownwater's filthy birthday today so he's kindly asked the authorites for some beverages on arrival.....standard behaviour! Nevermind the America's Cup....Bermuda isn't going to know what hit it when he gets started!

I can't quite believe we haven't managed to catch a fish on the way across. A serious rigging and lure re-think is going to have to happen in Bermuda.

So this will be our last update until we depart for the Azores and Gibraltar. We're not quite sure when that will be yet as Bermuda is going to be buzzing with the America's Cup. We're really looking forward to seeing the event and atmosphere.

For those who have been following us over the last few days we should be in phone signal shortly so feel free to buzz the mobiles hereon. Thanks for following!
