Evening all. 0100 hours here. So we've been motoring all day and night since the last blog update as only 7 knots of wind or less. It was ridiculously hot today, even walking around on the deck burnt the soles of your feet. We got the thermometer out the fridge and put it on the deck, it reached a scorching 42 degrees....you could fry an egg on that!

More dissappointment on the fishing front. We put on the big blue lure intent on catching a monster. Sure enough one bit but the crimp on the lure failed and it slipped the line, loosing the lure and whatever was on the end of it. Total dissappointment!

Sea is like a duck pond tonight, flat calm, although the sky is overcast and ocassionally lit up with a few blasts of lighting.

Not much else to report today. The forecast hints that the wind may pick up at 0500 so the code 0 is all rigged and ready to fly should that be the case.

Another pic of the day: The 'ice trucker' doing some impressive yoga balancing on a pitching boat....show off!

Shalan out
